With the holidays approaching, I just wanted to say “thank you” to everyone who has provided support to me as I blog and opened my little shop this past year. I have had dozens and dozens of people visit with me in person, email me, comment on my blog, or comment on Facebook, share my posting, etc. You have no idea how much your encouragement and support has helped me. I am forever grateful for you.
I started blogging in July 2016, and I remember the first blog post I published. I remember feeling sick to my stomach. I still get that fear a little each time I post but it gets easier and easier. My goal has been to write something, to share something meaningful, that helped me or might help you. Or sometimes, to share something that might make you laugh or help you feel appreciated or that others can relate too.
In July 2018, the blog will be 2 years old and as of this week, over 3000 people have come to the blog in 2018 alone! Total, since the blog was started, over 5000 people have visited the blog! The little pop-up-shop continues to generate interest and I appreciate everyone who has purchased, made orders, or just popped in. The store was also a leap of faith and I could not be doing it without the help of Tina and Bill at Webbs and Matt who helps make the signs with me.
This week, I am launching our online Etsy site for selling the signs. The feeling of nervousness and thought of failure loom, but we are going to give it shoot. I can’t succeed at something (or fail) if I don’t try. Even failure brings lessons learned.
I hope that someone (and even dozens of someone’s) tell you over the holidays that they are grateful for you. One of my biggest life lessons I have learned over the past 5 years is that you need to surround yourself with good people, positive and encouraging people, that get you. That love you and support you, no matter what, they are my TRIBE.
My wish for you is comfort, peace and time with family/friends that are loving, supportive and uplifting. Have a wonderful holiday and thank you for your support!
